PUPPIES AND KITTENS When you adopt a puppy or kitten (or get them from a breeder) it is always a good idea to bring them into our office within the first week to make sure that they are healthy, have any questions you may have answered, start them on parasite preventative and make sure that they are on a correct vaccine schedule. When you come in for your initial appointment with your puppy or kitten make sure to bring in any records that you were given for them as well as a stool sample that is as fresh as possible. We will want to test them for intestinal parasites right away. Your puppy or kitten will come in every 3 weeks until they are about 5 months old for their exams and vaccines with one of our veterinarians.
